Who is responsible?

Stretch Cat and this official website are operated by Huibin Wu. For questions or privacy requests, email huibinwupro@gmail.com. This policy covers this website and the iOS app. Version 1.0.0 has no advertising. The advertising practices below apply only to the upcoming version 1.0.1 and later versions with optional rewarded ads, including TestFlight builds.

Your game and purchases

You do not need a game account. Puzzle progress, scores, stars, selected cat, sound and visual preferences, and ad-earned level unlocks are stored on your device. We do not operate a server that receives your puzzle history or synchronizes your save. Device backups may be handled separately by Apple according to your device settings.

Apple processes in-app payments. The app checks StoreKit transaction information, such as the product and purchase entitlement, to unlock or restore the full game. We do not receive your card number or billing credentials. Restoring a purchase restores eligible paid access; it does not restore local puzzle progress or ad-earned unlocks.

Optional ads in version 1.0.1

Version 1.0.0 does not initialize Google Mobile Ads or request ads or consent forms. In 1.0.1, after completing all currently unlocked puzzles, you can choose a rewarded ad to unlock 10 more. Ads are not required to replay unlocked puzzles or use a purchased full game. Full-game owners have no ad offers. There are no banner, interstitial or launch ads.

Google Mobile Ads and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) process information when you request an ad or revisit advertising privacy choices. Google may process IP address and approximate location, app- or device-scoped identifiers, ad views and interactions, crash logs, performance and other diagnostics to deliver and measure ads, operate and improve its services, and prevent fraud. We do not send your puzzle history, scores, selected cat, purchase records, name or email to Google as custom ad data.

Ads are configured non-personalized, publisher first-party ID is disabled, and the app does not request Apple tracking permission or access IDFA. Non-personalized ads still involve data processing. We do not operate a separate analytics backend. See Google’s Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from partner apps.

UMP requests current privacy information before ad loading and presents choices where required. Where available, use Advertising privacy in Settings to review or withdraw consent or exercise applicable US privacy choices. Declining consent does not remove free, previously unlocked or purchased puzzles; some ads may be unavailable. The app does not reward consent or tracking permission. Google controls retention of its records under its own policies; we cannot retrieve or delete those records on your behalf.

Website visits and support messages

This website has no developer-added analytics, ad scripts, contact forms, or marketing cookies. The website hosting infrastructure may process technical request information, such as IP address, browser details, and access logs, to deliver and secure the site. Hosting is provided through OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare; their processing is described in OpenAI’s Privacy Policy and Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.

If you email huibinwupro@gmail.com, we receive your email address, message, and anything you choose to attach. We use them to answer your request and investigate the issue. Do not send passwords, payment card details, or other unnecessary sensitive information. We do not add support contacts to a mailing list.

Purposes, sharing and legal bases

We use information only to operate the game and website, recognize purchases, respond to support requests, and protect against abuse. We do not operate a separate player-data marketplace or send your puzzle history to advertisers. Apple processes purchase information through its own services; support email and hosting providers process the information necessary for those services. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or to protect legal rights.

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, processing may rely on providing the service you request, consent for optional processing where required, legal obligations, or legitimate interests such as security and responding to support, subject to your rights. Providers may process information in countries other than your own and apply the safeguards described in their policies.

Retention and deletion

Local saves remain on the device until removed with the app’s data; removing the app can erase progress and ad-earned unlocks. Backups may persist under your Apple settings. Purchase records are retained by Apple under its policies. We keep support correspondence only as long as needed to resolve the request and meet applicable recordkeeping or legal requirements. Hosting logs follow the hosting provider’s retention practices.

You can ask us to delete support information we hold, subject to legal requirements. We cannot retrieve or remotely erase a local save, or delete records controlled by Apple; contact those providers or use their privacy controls for such requests.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. Contact huibinwupro@gmail.com to make a request. We may ask for information needed to verify and respond to the request. You may also contact your local data-protection authority.

You can play free or purchased levels and use your device’s privacy and backup controls. The app does not request camera, microphone, contacts, or precise-location permissions.

Children and families

The game does not ask players to submit their name, age, or contact information. Parents and guardians should supervise optional purchases and use Apple’s family and purchase controls as appropriate. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through support, contact huibinwupro@gmail.com so we can review and address it.

Policy changes

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. Material changes will be brought to your attention as required by applicable law. The advertising section applies to version 1.0.1 and later ad-enabled builds; it does not change how the ad-free 1.0.0 build operates.
